Zimbabwe born gospel artist Tapiwa Ndoro, who is currently based in Botswana, has collaborated with gospel sensation Kabelo Eric on a song on a new album titled Tirivana. Loosely translated,Tirivana means As we are children, in Shona.

Ndoro also roped in Captain Dira of Matalanyane fame on his first track titled Makazvi gona sei. The song is a slamming hit which will surely compel gospel lovers to spiritualise through dance. The musical programming of the song is also above scratch supported by its well-balanced vocals and music which do not clash but harmonise perfectly.

Ndinotenda,a traditional borankana beat which is a masterpiece which has not tried and tested in the local gospel music set up as most of the artists prefer to go for slow hymns, praise and worship songs influenced by South African gospel artists who mostly fuse their music with Afro-pop.

In Ndinotenda, Bullet Ketshabile the man behind the music, has proved beyond doubt that traditional Borankana beats are still relevant as they can easily be fused with any lyrical content provided the artist on the beat is very creative.

The track is a simple thank you piece to the Almighty God for the life of the artists including his daily blessings. Kabelo Eric who has been in the local music industry for over a decade has also added the much needed boost to the album with his melodious gospel croons.

The album was recorded and mixed by Zolasko of Zolasko Music Lab and Bullet Ketshabile. The mastering of the whole album was done by Thando who used to be the sound engineer behind SPLASH.

Ndoro told Vibe that if it was not for God, he could not have achieved it to reach his album. “It required a lot of energy and cash to pay all those who took part in the project, for this album to come together and I thank the Almighty God for his endless blessings,” he said.

He added that he would continue to motivate and uplift people through powerful gospel music.
