Milk production records slight improvement

Milk production in the country has shown slight improvement as it has recorded 9.6 percent of the annual demand.
The ministry of Agricultural Development and Food Security Tokafatso Maduo report indicates that from April last year to March 2017, over 6.2 million litres of milk were produced compared to 3.7 million litres produced in April 2015 to March 2016.

PPADB benchmarks from South Korea

A delegation from the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board attended a two-day benchmarking workshop in South Korea on Electronic Procurement.
The two were PPADB executive chairperson Bridget John and Accountant General Emma Peloetletse, who is leading the development of the post award E-procurement modules in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development. In an interview, John said the aim was to appreciate what other countries are doing and the change management strategies employed from paper tenders to E-bidding.
